Online services
Meeting the needs and expectations of its users, who every day more often use internet and new technologies and want to be serve in that way, Wroclaw University Library prepared package of services, that are called online. These services can be ordered via electronic forms and some of them are also realized via internet.
Payments
Currently following forms of payment are accepted:
:: payment on bank account
Payment to WUL's bank account with foot-note “BUWr. - online”. Copy of transfer should be sent to
the Library. With orders fulfilled via internet no shipping fee is charged; in other cases – additional fee is charged.
:: cash when personally collecting
Bill is written out on the basis of the receipt.
VAT invoices
When sending order for any of bellowed services, WUL is, by electronic means, authorized to write out VAT invoice without signature of receiver.
Below there are short descriptions of particular online services provided by WUL. Detailed information regarding every one of them is present on proper web page dedicated to specific service.
We encourage our users for using this form of service and to send opinions and notices, that will allow us to improve our remote service system.
Subscribing to WUL
Subscription to Wroclaw University Library is accomplished only via online electronic forms. After filling and submitting electronic form one should go (with needed documents) to the Local Lending Department of WUL to collect library card.
Queries
Service "Online queries" enables remote handling of queries:
- library
- bibliographic
- subject.
Some queries could be additionally charged according to current price list for additional services.
Subject search in form of written tallies are created only for employees of University of Wrocław and on requests sent by companies.
Interlibrary loans
"Interlibrary loans” in package of online services is an offer directed both to libraries, employees and students of University of Wrocław that have valid library cards. Properly filled and submitted form to domestic libraries is the base for interlibrary lending. Ordering to foreign libraries needs additional arrangements done in the Interlibrary Lending Department.
Ordering copies
"Ordering copies” service enables remote ordering of reprographic copies (in various forms) of library's materials from general and special collections of WUL. User chooses type of reproduced document and method of receiving it. Payment for fulfilling of order is done accordingly to the current price list.
